Free Bike Tour Barcelona
We are trying to put together a list of the best no Pub Crawl ours to do in Barcelona and that list simply would not be complete without Free Bike Tour Barcelona, this tour is hands down one of the best tours I have been on, not just in Barcelona but out of all of my travels around the world.
The tour is super cheap you pay only for the bike rental online to book your spots, the guides work for your tips so they are super eager to impress
Our tour met outside Barceloneta metro station at 2 pm, we got there early and the guide was waiting for us, our guide for the day was called Noora, she was full of energy girl from Finland, now at first I thought what does a girl from Finland know about Barcelona the answer is A LOT she was super knowledgeable and had not just learned a script for the sites we visited she answered loads of the groups questions.
The bike tour made about 8 – 10 stops altogether and we covered most of the main sites of Barcelona including Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia, it took around about 3 hrs, there was plenty of time given to each stop for photos and the bike riding was at a fairly slow pace so it was super easy to keep up.
At each stop, Noora would get us all off the bikes and tell us some interesting stories and historical facts about each sight, I was really impressed by her knowledge, now am the type of person who likes to ask questions and she answered all of mine.
The tour ended close to where we started in the Barceloneta neighborhood the website said if you don’t like the tour don’t tip anything but if you did they recommend tipping 10 euros, I tipped 15 euros as that’s what change I had and it was way worth it.
There was plenty of Barcelona left to see after the tour and Noora made sure she pointed us in the right direction and she even gave us food recommendations!
The bikes were well maintained and the guide was cool she told us loads but didn’t go into information overload I would recommend this tour to anyone especially people who live in Barcelona! You might just learn something, I sure know I did.
Head over to there website to book your spots.
