Best Irish Bar in Barcelona

Brief History of George Payne Irish Bar
George Payne has come a long way. This praiseworthy pub is over 15 years old since it started welcoming fun lovers in Barcelona in 2006.
When George Payne and his brother Gary founded George Payne, they were running another flourishing bar in Dublin, so they already knew what they were getting into.
Of course, managing the pub would be a bit tricky if the two entrepreneurs were based in Ireland. But fortunately, George owned a house in Sitges and loved the Barcelona night scene, having explored it himself.
However, at first, Gary was hesitant to open George Payne, but his brother convinced him it was a great business opportunity. Shortly after, they acquired an old porn cinema and transformed it into their current space but sadly, before George Payne began its operations, something tragic happened – George passed away. His brother Gary named the club in his honour.
